Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive traffic plans to optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Monitor real-time traffic conditions and adjust plans accordingly to prevent delays
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and transportation activities using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Manage logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, delivery logs, and compliance reports
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members to resolve scheduling conflicts or logistical issues
- Oversee the management of transportation resources, ensuring vehicle maintenance and driver compliance with safety regulations
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee logistics operations and team coordination
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Proficiency in logistics planning, supply chain management, and IT systems related to transportation scheduling
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite—Word for documentation, Excel for data analysis, Outlook for communication
- Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment
- Effective communication skills in English to liaise with diverse stakeholders clearly and professionally
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries promptly and courteously
