YOUTH WORK VACANCY
(16hrs per week)
Salary £13.85ph, £11,555pa
Position Summary: This permanent position offers complimentary life insurance, a pension plan with employer contributions, and involves working with young people aged 7 to 25 years; & families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions in schools and other designated locations.
- Lead small group sessions in primary schools.
- Manage early intervention open access sessions at the Hub or Beach Street location.
- Facilitate detached and outreach sessions within the local community.
- Lead and support regular weekend and evening youth sessions across our varying youth spaces.
- Provide sexual health advice as per guidelines from the Terrence Higgins Trust.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively, including self-reflection, monitoring & evidencing outcomes for young people.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work or other relevant subject
- Proven experience working with young people is essential.
Safeguarding: Level Two is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be required to lead a brief activity during one of the scheduled youth sessions
