We are representing a well-established accountancy practice in Liverpool that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to take ownership of a client portfolio within a firm that values quality work, client relationships, and long-term career development.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Producing corporation tax computations and returns
- Acting as a main point of contact for clients
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff
- Supporting the ongoing development of the practice
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Have current or recent experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Be confident managing client relationships
- Have strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
- Be organised, professional, and commercially aware
