Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness standards
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as required
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management skills
- Follow responsible serving practices to promote safety and minimise alcohol-related issues
- Be comfortable working both the floor and bar as you will be required to work both areas if and when needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in serving or working behind a bar will be considered a plus
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts are important
- A personable attitude with excellent communication skills is essential for delivering outstanding customer service
