Job Title: Sandwich Artist
Location: Warrington
Hours: Monday – Saturday, 11:00am – 3:00pm (with possible Sundays on a rotational/as-needed basis)
Reports to: Deli / Kitchen Manager
About the Role
We are a very busy, well-established breakfast and brunch café in Warrington, and we’re excited to launch our own fresh deli focused on creating the best sandwiches in Warrington.
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Sandwich Artist to join our team and play a key role in this exciting new venture.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble high-quality, fresh sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, and other deli items using premium ingredients.
- Create beautiful, appetising presentations that showcase creativity and attention to detail.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times.
- Work efficiently during peak periods to deliver quick, consistent service.
- Contribute ideas for new sandwich specials, seasonal offerings, and flavour combinations.
- Manage stock rotation, ingredient preparation, and minimise waste.
- Provide excellent customer service at the deli counter, offering recommendations and engaging with guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience required in a similar role (café, deli, sandwich shop, or high-volume food preparation).
- A genuine passion for great food, flavours, and presentation.
- Proven ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure while maintaining high quality.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate preferred – training can be provided if needed).
- Friendly, outgoing personality with natural customer service skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
