About the Role
See Thru Cleaning Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Evening & Weekend Cleaning Operative to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for regular evening and weekend work. The role will involve cleaning a range of commercial premises to a consistently high standard, with the successful applicant working independently and as part of our wider cleaning team.
A company van will be provided, along with all necessary cleaning equipment, products and PPE required to carry out the role.
Working Hours
- Evening work starting from 5:00pm
- 6+ hours every Saturday
- 6+ hours every Sunday
- Additional evening hours may be available depending on the contracts being serviced.
The successful candidate must be flexible and reliable, particularly with regard to weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general commercial cleaning duties to a high standard
- Cleaning offices, communal areas, washrooms, kitchens and other designated areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing consumables where required
- Following cleaning schedules and instructions
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or concerns to management
- Maintaining a professional standard of service at all times
- Ensuring company equipment and vehicles are kept clean and looked after
- Working safely in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and conscientious
- Trustworthy and responsible
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Able to maintain a consistently high standard of cleaning
- Polite and professional when dealing with customers
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties
- A good communicator and team player
Previous commercial cleaning experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
Driving Licence
Due to the provision of a company van, the successful applicant will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and meet the company's insurance requirements.
