Air Conditioning Engineer / Trainee
RM Air Conditioning Ltd is looking for an Air Conditioning engineer / Trainee to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable and keen to develop their career within the air conditioning industry. We’re happy to consider both experienced engineers/technicians and applicants with some relevant experience who are looking to progress with further training and qualifications.
The Role
You’ll be working across a variety of commercial and domestic sites, carrying out air conditioning installations, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
The role will include:
● Installation of split, multi-split and other air conditioning systems
● Service and planned preventative maintenance
● Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
● Working independently and as part of a team
● Completing job sheets and relevant site documentation
● Providing a professional and friendly service to our customers
● Working safely and maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Key Skills & Experience
Ideally, you will have:
● Previous experience within air conditioning, refrigeration or a similar
● Experience with installation, servicing, repairs and diagnostics would be an advantage
● City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas qualification preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate
● Qualifications such as Working at Height and IPAF would be beneficial, although training will be provided
● Experience working with chillers and refrigeration equipment would be an advantage but is not essential
● Good practical and problem-solving skills
● Good customer service and communication skills
● A professional approach when working on customer sites
● A strong can-do attitude
● Willingness to learn and develop
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
● Full UK driving licence preferred
