Job Overview
Medpoint provides pharmacy automation machines including 24/7 prescription collection machines to clients throughout the UK and Ireland.
The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction so we are looking for an experience Field Service Engineer who has electrical and mechanical engineering and servicing experience, is confident and comfortable when interacting with clients and has initiative and drive to work alone whilst being an integral part of the team.
We would welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate effectively diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults and carryout out repairs.
Upon completing training the successful applicant will be based from home but must be willing to travel to the locations of our customers.
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
Role
· Conduct fault diagnosis on site and remotely
· Implement service and repairs
· Accept on-site delivery and complete installation of equipment
· Implement go-live testing and handover process to customers
· Inspect and test equipment for safety
· Supervise and direct onsite 3rd party contractors
· Submit daily reports
· Assist with the servicing hotline to provide remote support
· Ability to work in adverse weather and occasional overnight stay and
weekend work
· Willingness to travel
Skills
· Minimum 3-5 years of autonomous field service experience handing industrial/ commercial installations and emergency breakdowns
· Advanced root cause fault on diagnosis on complex, integrated electro-mechinical automatiation systems and rebotics
· Good understanding of Mechanical, Electric and Electronic principles
and ability to use in practice
· Valid UK driving license
· Previous experience as a Vending Machine Engineer/ Pharmacy Robot
Engineer is advantageous, but not essential.
· Proficient with industrial software configurations, firmware updates and PC based diagnostic tools
· Friendly customer focused attitude and the ability to communicate at all
levels
· Build positive relationships with customers
· Desire to learn and achieve more skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
