Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of designated sections within the kitchen
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to the head chef
- Contribute to menu development by sharing ideas and culinary techniques
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Passion for delivering high-quality cuisine and excellent service standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
