Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and keeping track of usage levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Uphold food safety standards to guarantee the health and safety of all patrons.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
- A solid understanding of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in the bar area.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to foster positive guest interactions.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for all customers.
