The Role in a Nutshell
You'll provide dedicated 1:1 support to a client in their own home, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. Prior experience in complex/behavioural support is a real advantage, but not essential — full training is provided for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern
- 12-hour day shifts
- 12-hour wake nights (fully awake and active throughout, paid at the wake-night rate — not a sleep-in)
- Rota covers weekdays and weekends
What You'll Be Doing
- 1:1 personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Supporting community activities and outings, including driving to appointments
- Meal preparation and feeding support
- Medication reminders per care plan
- Light housekeeping to maintain a safe home
- Companionship and emotional support
- Care documentation via our IT system
- Liaising with family and healthcare professionals
Must-Haves (please only apply if you meet these — it saves you time)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable (not required — training can be provided)
- Experience in two or more of:
- Learning disabilities or challenging behaviour support
- Autism, ADHD, or Asperger Syndrome support
- Self-harm support
- Substance misuse support
- Mental health support
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training
