Embroidery Production Operative
The Embroidered & Printed Clothing Company (EPCC) – Margate, Kent
Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our embroidery department in Margate.
Previous embroidery experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However, applicants must be confident using a sewing machine, as this is a key requirement of the role.
EPCC is one of the UK's leading garment decoration companies, producing embroidered and printed clothing for businesses, brands, events, and some of the biggest names in the music and entertainment industry. We work with major tours, artists, festivals, clothing brands, and corporate clients throughout the UK and internationally.
The Role
You will be working within our busy embroidery department helping to produce high-quality garments for a wide variety of customers.
Duties will include:
- Operating commercial embroidery machines
- Loading and unloading garments
- Trimming and finishing embroidered products
- Using sewing machines for garment finishing and alterations
- Quality checking completed work
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- General production duties within the embroidery department
Requirements
- Experience using a sewing machine is essential
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team
