Maintenance Controller – National Plant & Fleet

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Controller to join MAX Automotive Group Ltd.
The main focus of this role will be controlling a large national plant and equipment maintenance contract, with additional responsibility for HGV, trailer and van maintenance.
The Role
You will manage maintenance from initial breakdown/defect through to completion, including:
- Controlling our own mobile engineers
- Managing third-party repairers nationwide
- Allocating breakdowns and planned maintenance
- Plant & powered access maintenance
- HGV, trailer and LCV maintenance
- Obtaining and challenging repair quotations
- Issuing repair authorisations
- Coordinating parts and suppliers
- Monitoring live jobs and reducing downtime
- Keeping customers updated
- Scheduling servicing and inspections
- Checking completed work and invoices
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Who We’re Looking For
Previous experience in maintenance control, plant hire, fleet maintenance, workshop control or service advising is highly desirable.
You should be:

Plant or powered-access experience would be a major advantage.
