Chocolate Production Team Member
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our busy chocolate production team. You will be trained to work in a variety of areas, from ingredients handling, through to packing and dispatch, plus some machine operation.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients for chocolate batches - weighing and measuring where necessary
- Operating refining and wrapping machines
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Some warehouse duties
- Working with the team on the moulding line
- Working as part of the packing team
- Helping with end of day cleaning

No prior experience is required for this role, though some experience of working in a factory setting or operating machines could be an advantage.
We are a growing company and need to produce more chocolate than we have done before. To achieve this, we are introducing a new shift pattern and are ideally seeking candidates who can work both shifts, alternating every two weeks.
The two shift patterns are:
Earlier shift: 7:30am - 4pm
Later shift: 10:30am - 7pm

We are a small business, employing 20 people. We manufacture chocolate from scratch – importing cocoa directly from farmer’s coops in Ecuador and producing our own brand of high-quality chocolate called Ombar that we sell into major supermarkets and independant stores across the UK and abroad.
