Job Summary
We’re looking for an enthusiastic HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly team on a freelance basis in our brand-new, beautifully equipped clinic in Knightsbridge, Central London.
The required working days are flexible and can be discussed in advance.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing their own caseload, maintaining accurate clinical records, and working with a variety of paediatric clients, including those with language delays, speech/articulation disorders, and autism.
You’ll also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a range of private clients and families.
Experience working with young children is essential, with a good understanding of child development and the use of play-based therapy approaches to support communication. The successful candidate will be child-centred, compassionate, and able to adapt therapy to each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning style.
You should have experience creating sensory-friendly therapy environments and using engaging, motivating activities to maximise participation. The ability to build positive relationships with children and their families, work collaboratively with other professionals, and communicate effectively with parents and carers is essential.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, reflective in their practice, and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based intervention. A willingness to learn, seek clinical supervision, and contribute positively to a supportive team is highly valued.
We offer clinical support and supervision, access to a fully equipped therapy space, and assistance with scheduling.
