We are looking for a Receptionist to join the team at Hetland Hall Hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out, using our booking system effectively, answering guest queries, handling telephone enquiries and identifying opportunities to up-sell our services.
Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Hetland Hall Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel set within extensive grounds. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences through our dedicated team and commitment to high standards. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our reception team and contribute to the continued success of the hotel.
- Greeting and assisting guests at reception, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answering calls and responding to enquiries from prospective customers and guests, taking messages where required.
- Managing the hotel booking system, including checking guests in and out and processing payments.
- Assisting guests with requests and providing excellent customer service throughout their stay.
- Identifying opportunities to up-sell rooms, services and facilities.
- Working closely with other departments and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Maintaining a professional and organised reception area at all times.
- Previous customer service or reception experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
- Strong I.T. and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to customer service.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
