About the role
We're looking for an experienced Car Mechanic to carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of vehicles. This is a hands-on role in a busy, fast-paced garage, working alongside a friendly and experienced team.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on cars and commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Working to manufacturer standards and timescales
- Keeping accurate records of work carried out
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
- Providing a high standard of customer care and workmanship
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a car mechanic/vehicle technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A full, valid driving licence
- Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when working independently
- A positive, reliable, and hard-working attitude
