Part-time chef required to assist head chef with the cooking and serving of freshly prepared food in our clubhouse bar and restaurant. Also to run the occasional shift in head chefs absences.
Candidate MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT, be enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking. 2-3 years experience preferred. However, training will be provided.
Hours can range from 10 to 25in a week. Typical week would be 10 to 15 hours once fully trained. Some evenings and weekends required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the head and second chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
- Maintaining our 5* Hygiene Rating
- Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to high standards and in a timely and efficient manner
- Putting deliveries away and adhering to strict stock rotation
- Helping to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
