We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Mobile Catering Assistant to join our dynamic catering team. This role involves supporting the preparation and serving of food at various locations, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for catering, cooking, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal and food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support the setup and breakdown of catering stations at different locations
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the mobile catering unit and work areas
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with inventory management, including stock checks and restocking supplies
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly during operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth and efficient catering services
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and food safety procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work flexibly across various locations and shifts as required
- Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service
