Maritime Apartments provides self contained accommodation for contractors and business people in the heart of Barrow’s Industrial Area. The apartments are located in 4 streets and surround award winning landscaped communal gardens.
We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic Maintenance Person to join our friendly Maintenance Team and assist with the upkeep of the development.
Duties will include general maintenance and DIY repairs, painting and decorating, plastering, basic plumbing and building flat pack furniture.
This is a physical job, requiring someone who is happy to work outdoors in all weather, can operate hand tools, assist in lifting heavy items eg washing machines, sofas and climb a ladder.
You will need to be happy to work alone and also as part of a team, have a ‘can do’ attitude and be proactive.
This is a full time position but we will also consider applications from people looking for part time work. Start date as soon as possible.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 37.5 per week
