Role:
We are seeking a part time team member for a customer service position in a bakery for shifts in Holloway N7 8JN.
This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food and coffee, and contributing to the smooth running of the bakery. The ideal candidate will be confident, reliable, able to use their initiative and make decisions and possess strong time management skills with an eye for detail.
The role is for 8-16 hours a week over 1-2 shifts a week and working hours are between 7.30am and 2.30pm.
Saturday shifts are required every week.
Fixed days off are Sunday-Tuesday.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers in a friendly manner and providing efficient service
- Follow guidelines and maintain quality for our display and during food preparation; this includes making sandwiches and fillings daily
- Prepare high quality coffees and other drinks as a barista
- Assisting senior team in coordinating daily operations and logistics across sites
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery, including kitchen and serving areas
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience in a food business and experience with coffee preferred
- Reliable, punctual and willing to solve problems and contribute to the team
- Experience with food preparation and a passion for good, high quality food
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude
- Confidence to work independently, as well as alongside the team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
- Training can be given for the right person
