We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and engaged.

Applicants must already hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children within the nursery setting.

Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.

Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all children feel encouraged to explore and learn.

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment, ensuring safety standards are upheld.

Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary.

Collaborate with other staff members to manage behaviour and promote social skills among children.
Skills:

Experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to manage groups of children effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.

A genuine interest in nurturing children's development through play-based learning.

Ability to work within a team to support children, adapting environments to enhance learning experiences and interests.
