About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Headteacher to support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of our specialist SEND school. Working alongside the Headteacher, you will help drive school improvement, promote outstanding teaching and learning, and ensure every pupil reaches their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Headteacher and deputise in their absence.
- Lead school improvement and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Champion inclusive practice and oversee provision for pupils with complex SEND.
- Promote safeguarding, pupil wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to improve outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with families and external professionals.
- Support the operational management of the school, including staffing, resources, and health & safety.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree and significant senior leadership experience.
- Proven experience working with children and young people with SEND.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, SEND legislation, and school improvement.
- Inspirational leader with excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills.
- Committed to inclusion, high standards, and improving outcomes for every child.

Pay: £42,350.00-£48,213.00 per year
