Job Summary:
Due to expansion in the company. We are hiring an HGV Driver (Class 2) within our family run business.
The job involves delivering, relocating and uplifting office furniture and specialist equipment, pallets and parcels across North and South of Ireland and United Kingdom. Please only apply if you are interested in UK work, including delivering into London.
The job requires good physical lifting ability for the relocation of furniture.
Full, or Part-time all considered as we have flexible opportunites available. It will require a minimum of 2-3 overnight stays per week.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualities:
- Organizational skills
- Self motivation
- Customer service skills
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Up to date CPC
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver furniture and parcels to various locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and manage paperwork efficiently.
- Organize and secure loads to prevent damage during transport.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
