Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness within the kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks.
- Keep kitchen areas clean and organised, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Support the chefs and cooks as needed during service times.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices and food hygiene standards.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
Pay: £12.72-£15.00 per hour
