Partners in Care are developing a specialist support team for an individual with an acquired brain injury living within the community who requires a highly consistent, psychologically informed approach to support.
The successful candidate will support the individual to maintain independence and quality of life while helping to reduce distress, conflict, and instability through calm, professional, and consistent approaches.
This is a specialist position requiring emotional intelligence and resilience, professional boundaries, reflective practice, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency environment.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering person-centred support within the home and community
- Supporting emotional regulation and behavioural stability
- Responding appropriately to behaviours that challenge
- Maintaining consistency of approach across the team
- Using de-escalation and low-arousal communication techniques
- Supporting independence and daily living A
- ccurate recording and professional communication
- Participating in reflective supervision and team development
- Maintaining clear professional boundaries at all times
- Support with Personal Care
Essential Qualities:
- Calm under pressure

Desirable Qualities:
- Experience and understanding of positive behaviour support
- Background in mental health
- Experience with brain injury rehabilitation
- Experience providing complex community support
