About the Role
JBCS Kent is looking for a motivated, reliable and hardworking Window Cleaning Operative to join our growing team.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply turning up, doing a job and going home. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop their skills, take on responsibility and grow with the company.
You will be carrying out professional window cleaning and exterior cleaning work for both domestic and commercial customers, while also managing your own daily workload and developing strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out professional window cleaning to a high standard.
- Use our modern water-fed pole techniques where required.
- Follow daily schedules and manage your workload using the Squeegee job-management app.
- Take responsibility for arriving at jobs on time and completing work efficiently.
- Quality-check your own work before leaving each property to ensure customers receive a consistently high standard.
- Communicate professionally and confidently with customers.
- Answer customer questions and provide a friendly, helpful service.
- Identify additional opportunities where customers may benefit from our other services.
- Develop your ability to upsell additional services, with full support and training provided.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Follow company health & safety procedures.
- Represent JBCS Kent professionally at every job.
- Work independently while also being part of a growing team.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Hardworking and reliable.
- Confident communicating with customers.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for their own workload.
- Eager to learn new skills and techniques.
- Confident using a smartphone and apps.
- Interested in developing their sales and upselling skills.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous window cleaning experience is advantageous but training can be provided for the right person.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Positive, enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in.
- Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work.
- Ambitious and interested in progressing within a growing company.
