Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable uPVC Replacement Window Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and maintaining uPVC windows in residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Applicants should possess relevant experience in window fitting, with additional skills in related trades highly advantageous. Duties
- Remove old windows and prepare openings for new uPVC units with precision and care
- Install new uPVC windows ensuring proper sealing, alignment, and functionality
- Measure openings accurately to ensure correct fitment of windows
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation
- Follow technical schematics and specifications to ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements
- Assist with related tasks such as minor plastering, masonry, or carpentry work as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Skills
- Proven experience in window fitting or related construction trades such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, or construction plans
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, or welding is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and adapt to different project requirements
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise installation
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
