We are looking for an individual who is passionate about hospitality and loves connecting with people. We are a 72-bedroom boutique hotel nestled in the beautiful neighbourhood of Fitzrovia, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Assistant to join our team.
This is a versatile role, you will initially be trained at Reception before cross-training in Food and Beverage, enabling you to provide seamless support across both departments.
Main duties:
Welcoming guests and providing a warm and professional check-in and check-out experience.
Handling guest inquiries and providing accurate information about the hotel and local attractions.
Managing reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using our Opera Cloud system. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
Supporting Food and Beverage operations, including restaurant and bar service. Assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborating across departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
What We Are Looking For:
A people's person with a can-do attitude and a passion for hospitality. Flexibility and willingness to work across Reception and Food and Beverage.
At least 1 year of experience in a hotel reception or guest-facing hospitality role. Able to work individually and as part of a small team. Being proactive and being able to think on their feet.
Good admin skills.
Multilingual skills (advantageous but not essential).
Knowledge of Opera Cloud (advantageous but not essential).
