We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team in Leicestershire. This role is crucial to ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods and materials, supporting the smooth operation of our business. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations within Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition, adhering to route schedules and customer requirements.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork efficiently.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to support operational efficiency.
- Valid UK driving licence appropriate to the vehicle(s) driven (Class B or relevant licence category).
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably within the automotive or logistics sectors.
- Excellent knowledge of Leicestershire roads and surrounding areas.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete delivery documentation.
- Friendly and professional attitude with good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
