PVC Patio Door Fabricator
Job Summary
The PVC Patio Door Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and preparation of PVC patio door components in accordance with company specifications and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and prepare PVC profiles and components using saws, routers, welding equipment, and specialized fabrication tools.
- Assemble patio door frames, sashes, glazing units, and hardware components in accordance with technical drawings, work orders, and production specifications.
- Operate PVC welding and corner-cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
- Install door hardware, including locking systems, rollers, handles, and other related components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or production discrepancies to supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of fabrication equipment as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets, quality objectives, and delivery deadlines.
- Adhere to all manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in PVC fabrication, window and door manufacturing, or a similar production environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurement tools, including tape measures and calipers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience operating power tools and fabrication machinery.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift materials, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, follow established procedures, and contribute to a positive working environment.
Working Conditions
