Mechplant are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our busy plant hire team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the safe delivery, collection, and basic operation of plant and equipment to customer sites. This is a hands-on role that requires professionalism, good customer service, and a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting plant hire equipment to and from customer sites
- Safely loading and unloading equipment
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Adhering to all health & safety and transport regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 or Class 1 driving licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous plant hire or construction-related driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of local road networks
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
