Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and serving stations
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed to uphold hygiene and quality
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Barista or in serving food and beverages is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between stations, and lift light loads when necessary
