Garforth Golf Range – Retail Shop & Driving Range
Full-time and Part-time positions available
Salary:
Basic pay to £26,500 (dependent on age, experience & hours)
Plus opportunity for performance bonuses (custom fitting)
We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join the team at Garforth Golf Range. This is a customer facing role based across our retail shop and driving range, so we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working with people and being part of a busy team. We currently have the potential for two positions available – one full-time and one part-time – with exact hours and shift patterns still being finalised. There is an opportunity to join the team as a custom fitter, which could provide an opportunity to earn more through performance bonuses. If this does not apply to you, this is not essential to our basic role advertisement, and we would still encourage you to apply.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with enquiries in the shop and around the range
- Serving customers and operating the till system
- Answering phone calls and dealing with bookings/enquiries
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the driving range
- Helping maintain the range, including clearing targets, collecting balls and keeping customer areas tidy
- Assisting with stock control, including receiving deliveries, inputting stock and helping keep the shop organised
- Supporting the wider team and helping cover where needed

- Knowledgeable about golf and confident speaking with customers about the game
- Proven ability to carry out custom fitting to sell hardware is desirable but not essential
- Able to travel to and from Garforth Golf Range for work

The role will include evening and weekend work, with shifts to be confirmed.
