Zoe-Life Wellness Collective is expanding in the UK and is seeking an innovative, adaptable and clinically capable osteopath to join our growing team.
This role is primarily based in Swindon, Wiltshire. Candidates should also be willing and able to travel reliably for agreed work-related duties. Depending on patient needs and ongoing projects, work may take place in London and elsewhere in the UK.
Osteopathy forms the core of the position. Our work often involves patients with complex presentations who may benefit from careful osteopathic assessment, trauma-informed communication, collaborative care planning and appropriately scoped integrative support.
The role will suit a practitioner who enjoys complex clinical work, multidisciplinary collaboration, ongoing learning and helping to shape new ways of providing osteopathic care safely and accessibly.
About the role
Successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team working with patients who may present with
- Chronic pain
- Stress-related symptoms
- Neurodivergence
- Trauma histories
- Autoimmune or long-term conditions
- Health challenges that do not always fit neatly into conventional healthcare pathways.
Our mission is simple: to provide compassionate support for people who have often felt overlooked, unsupported or under served, and to help develop safe and practical models of care that can reach those who need them.
Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering high-quality osteopathic assessment, treatment and management within professional scope.
- Providing osteopathic care for patients with chronic pain, stress-related presentations, trauma histories, neurodivergent and complex health needs, while referring onward where appropriate.
- Contributing to collaborative treatment planning alongside other practitioners.
- Learning about and assisting with specialist assessment technologies used within the clinic, where these relate appropriately to osteopathic and musculoskeletal care.
- Assisting with patient health scans and related clinical procedures within the scope of musculoskeletal assessment and osteopathic practice.
- Supporting patients undergoing complementary therapies where appropriate and within agreed clinic protocols.
- Providing practical stress-management, movement, lifestyle and self-care advice within professional competence.
- Working safely and compassionately with trauma-affected, vulnerable, neurodivergent and paediatric patients when required, using a trauma-informed approach at all times.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records, treatment plans and relevant administrative documentation.
- Assisting with administrative duties, patient bookings and general clinic operations when necessary.
- Participating in team discussions, case reviews, supervision and collaborative learning.
- Contributing meaningfully to the development of new methods and innovative applications of service delivery.
No two weeks are likely to look exactly the same. Flexibility, professional maturity and a willingness to contribute where needed are essential.
Essential requirements
- Master's degree in Osteopathy or equivalent recognised osteopathic qualification.
- Current GOsC registration, or eligibility to register before starting the role.
- A minimum of two years' clinical experience as an osteopath.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and musculoskeletal clinical reasoning.
- Training or experience in trauma-informed care, nervous-system regulation or working safely with patients affected by trauma, stress or chronic health conditions.
- Confidence working with complex presentations and chronic health conditions within professional scope.
- Excellent communication, boundaries, record-keeping and professional judgement.
- A compassionate, patient-centered and collaborative approach.
- A willingness to learn, adapt and work within an evolving integrative healthcare setting.
- Ability to travel reliably between clinic locations and for agreed work-related duties. A driving license is desirable where this supports the travel requirements of the role.
Highly desirable
- Additional trauma-informed care qualifications.
- Counseling skills, therapeutic communication or coaching-related training.
- Experience supporting patients with PTSD, C-PTSD or trauma-related presentations, while working within appropriate clinical scope
- Breath-work, mindfulness, meditation, TRE, somatic practice or nervous-system regulation training.
- Additional qualifications related to stress management, emotional wellbeing or chronic pain support.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary or integrative healthcare environments.
- Evidence of professional development, service development, research, innovation or contribution to new models of care.
What we can offer
- Salary of £38,000-£45,000 FTE, pro rata, dependent on experience, specialist training and agreed responsibilities.
- Initial schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to develop as the role grows.
- Workplace pension.
- Reimbursement of agreed work-related travel expenses in line with clinic policy.
- Opportunities for ongoing learning, supervision, case discussion and collaboration with experienced practitioners.
- Exposure to a wide variety of complex and clinically interesting cases within an integrative, multidisciplinary environment.
Working environment
This is a highly collaborative and evolving clinical environment. We use a range of assessment tools and therapeutic approaches that may be unfamiliar to practitioners from more conventional settings. Team members are encouraged to remain curious, adaptable, evidence-aware and open to learning, while maintaining safe professional boundaries and scope of practice.
The successful candidate will work alongside practitioners from multiple disciplines and contribute to a culture of continual development, reflective practice, clinical discussion and patient advocacy.
This role is likely to appeal to practitioners who enjoy exploring new ideas and helping complex patients, rather than those seeking a highly structured or conventional clinical environment.
