About the role
You'll create engaging lessons that help students develop understanding and build confidence. You'll plan learning that meets the needs of every student, assess progress, and provide feedback that helps them move forward. Working with colleagues, pastoral staff, and parents, you'll support each child's personal development and learning journey.
Key responsibilities
Plan and teach engaging lessons that challenge students and build on what they already know
Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, high ability, and EAL
Use assessment and feedback to guide learning and close gaps in understanding
Create a positive classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and ready to learn
Work closely with colleagues and parents to support student progress and wellbeing
We are looking for someone who
You'll have a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status. You'll understand what excellent teaching looks like and how to create high expectations in the classroom. Can you use assessment to help students make progress? Do you have good IT skills and a secure knowledge of your subject and curriculum? We'd love to hear from you if you're flexible, patient, and responsive to feedback. Are you someone who values working together and is open to new ideas?
