Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Chef / Commis Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and presented attractively
- Support other kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately
- Serve breakfast dishes efficiently to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Good understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary fundamentals
- Experience working in a restaurant environment is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with various kitchen duties as needed

Pay: £24,420.00-£37,975.20 per year
