We're looking for a creative, energetic and ideas-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator.
This isn't just another marketing role.
You'll be responsible for growing the personal brand of a local entrepreneur, managing the Business Mutiny Podcast, creating engaging social media content and supporting the marketing of multiple businesses across a variety of industries including:
- Telecommunications
- IT & Cyber Security
- Hospitality (Bar & Food Venue)
- Acquisitions & Entrepreneurship
No two days will ever be the same.
The Role
You'll be responsible for creating, filming, editing and publishing content across multiple platforms.
Your goal will be to build audiences, increase engagement and grow our podcast and YouTube channels while supporting the wider marketing activity across the group.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be encouraged to bring your own ideas, test new concepts and continually improve our content.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing Jon's personal brand across all social platforms
- Growing the Business Mutiny Podcast and YouTube channel
- Developing the social media for a bar in Morley Bottoms
- Planning weekly content calendars
- Filming content on location and in our podcast studio
- Editing podcasts, reels, shorts and long-form videos
- Creating graphics and social media assets
- Managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Creating engaging written content
- Photographing events and business activities
- Supporting marketing campaigns across multiple businesses
- Tracking analytics and suggesting improvements
- Staying ahead of social media trends
Essential Skills
You'll already be comfortable using tools such as:
- CapCut
- Canva
- Adobe Photoshop
- Video cameras, microphones and lighting
- Meta Business Suite
- TikTok
- Instagram
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- YouTube Studio
