The Role
As a Drainage Engineer, you will carry out a variety of drainage works across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve drainage issues.
- Carry out drain unblocking, maintenance, repairs, and rehabilitation works.
- Conduct site assessments and identify effective drainage solutions.
- Operate specialist drainage equipment, power tools, hand tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.
- Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Accurately record completed works using our bespoke digital work management system.
- Represent Equiflo Solutions professionally and positively at all times.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Proven experience within the drainage industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of drainage systems and repair techniques.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- CCTV drainage survey experience.
- High-pressure water jetting experience.
Desirable
- Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or excavation works.
- WJA accreditation.
- CSCS Card.
