Van Technician / MOT Tester

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Van Technician / MOT Tester to join our busy and growing workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles and vans.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards (Class 4 and Class 7 preferred).
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, to and company standards.
- Accurately complete job cards and maintain workshop records.
Essential
- Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Valid MOT Tester Licence.
- Proven experience working on vans
- Full UK driving licence.
- Diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Air conditioning certification and/or EV/Hybrid qualifications.
- Class 7 MOT testing licence
