Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Factory Operative to join our production team. The right candidate will be supporting the team in various aspects of creating our fresh products daily.
Key Responsibilities
· Production: Assist with general duties around the factory. Be reliable, motivated and comfortable handling raw material on a food production line. Assisting with processing and packaging of food products.
· Quality Control: Monitor products to ensure every batch meets our quality standards. Maintaining food quality records throughout the production process.
· Compliance: Work in a safe manner and maintain rigorous hygiene while complying and follow all processes and procedures, including washing down.
Required Skills and Experience
· Experience: Previous experience in a dairy or food production environment is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations is a bonus.
· Skills: Flexibility to work effectively in a team environment or on own. Ability to read and write in English and a thirst for learning. Previous experience of working with cheese or meat would be highly desirable.
· Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hot water/curd and perform repetitive hand-shaping tasks with speed and accuracy.
· Physical Stamina: The role involves manual handling, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced factory environment.
· Attention to Detail: Precision in preparing packaging and monitoring products.
