Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Office Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of our office premises. This role is essential in ensuring a professional and hygienic environment for staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks during evening hours, contributing to the overall upkeep of our workspace. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, though training will be provided where necessary. This position offers consistent paid employment with the opportunity to work flexible evening hours.
Hours of work 6.00pm-7.30pm
Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all office areas, including desks, workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Dust surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a dust-free environment
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning procedures is advantageous
