Duties
- Deliver professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Perform specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and hair smoothing or texturizing services
- Provide outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client requests, offering expert advice, and ensuring a positive salon experience
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Mentor junior staff members by sharing techniques, providing guidance on customer interactions, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Stay updated with the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and beauty treatments through continuous learning and professional development
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques
- Demonstrated ability in store management or overseeing salon operations is highly desirable
- Skilled in barbering techniques alongside traditional hairstyling methods
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members
- Experience in customer service roles within a beauty or retail environment
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling strategies to maximize client satisfaction and sales
- Prior mentoring or training experience that supports team growth and skill development
