Domestic Assistant
Location: Penzance
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time (Weekdays 9am-3pm)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Domestic and support worker to join our team within a community care environment. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our service users home. Provide Companionship and support with shopping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship
- Maintain hygiene and infection control standards across all areas
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriately
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Work closely with care and support staff to maintain a pleasant environment
- Handling clients shopping requirements and money
- Provide personal care
About You:
- Understanding of infection control
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Good communication and time management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A caring and respectful attitude toward vulnerable individuals
