About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Golf Operations Assistant to join our team for the busy summer season. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the golf operation, supporting the day-to-day running of the facility while delivering outstanding service to members and visitors.
This position is seasonal, with peak hours during the summer months. Please note that hours may be reduced during the winter period in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring the tee sheet to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handling retail sales within the pro shop, including merchandising and stock replenishment
- Processing green fees, societies, and other small sales transactions
- Providing exceptional customer service to members, guests, and societies
- Assisting with the organisation and preparation of golf days and society bookings
- Supporting pace of play and on-course operations where required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional shop and front-of-house environment
- Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
- Working closely with management to improve service standards and overall product quality
- Assisting with stock control, deliveries, and basic inventory management

- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings during peak season
