A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an efficient, organised and experienced Assessor to join a highly reputable, established and rapidly expanding Domiciliary Care Business.
The role of the Quality & Compliance Assistant is to support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field, including the assessment and review of individual services and the practical supervision, instruction and support of care workers.
Quality & Compliance Assistants are expected to spend the majority of their working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but their role will typically also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work.

As an Quality & Compliance Assistant your role will include the following duties:
To visit new and existing service users in the community, complete comprehensive care and risk assessments, design person centred support plans, and conduct quality monitoring for a leading home care provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessments: Visit clients at home to evaluate their physical, mental, and social care needs using a person-centred, strengths-based approach.
- Care Planning: Design detailed, realistic support plans and risk assessments that promote client independence and safety.
- Quality Monitoring: Perform spot-checks, field supervisions, and reviews of care workers during home visits to ensure compliance and high standards.
- Multidisciplinary Liaison: Work with families, local authorities, GPs, and health professionals to coordinate safe packages of care.
- Equipment & Technology: Recommend and arrange minor home adaptations, assistive technology, or community equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records on electronic care management systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Background in health and social care, with prior experience in care planning, monitoring, or senior field roles.
- Education: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional listening, interpersonal, and written skills.
- Transport: Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community travel.
- IT Literacy: Comfortable using digital tablets, databases, and monitoring software.
