An exciting Job Opportunity for an Installation Engineer has become available at ADS. The candidate will work on our Louvre, Brise Soleil, Smoke & Natural Ventilation systems and general duties will include: running electrical wiring, containment, fitting ventilation equipment along with other general operative duties.
This full time position is site based (nationwide) and all engineers report to our Gateshead Office. Most projects are new build installation projects and some involve refurbishment work.
Your duties will include the following…
- Working alongside ADS supervisor
- Client/Contractor liaison
- Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections
- Ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manor so as not to put yourself or others in danger, including the correct use of plant and materials
- Ensure material requests are in made adequate time to achieve the Construction Programme and not limit production
- Ensure all work is completed to programme
- Create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours to the site
- Site based training along with any other training is provided. General work duties include pulling in electrical wiring, fitting ventilation equipment, fitting of aluminium louvre / brise soleil systems
You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require.

You shall not work for anyone else while you are employed by the Company.
The Basic Salary covers the full time aspect of this role. Engineers are naturally paid more for travel and overtime as the job requires this on a regular basis. On average, our Installation Engineers earn over £30,000 per year.
