The Growth Company (GC) Education and Skills team is looking for a dedicated Skills Development Tutor to design, deliver, and continually improve training across Accounting Apprenticeships at Levels 2 to 4. The role is focused on supporting positive learner outcomes by developing the knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes needed for progression and success, while delivering structured AAT Level 2 to Level 4 taught sessions that prepare learners for their examinations.
Please note that this role is based at Warren Bruce Court, Trafford Park, with delivery taking place both in person and online between 9:00am and 4:30pm. Some remote working is available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver sequential face-to-face and remote learning sessions in line with the Accounting Standards and AAT requirements up to Level 4.
- Manage client caseloads to retain business, support learner progression and new opportunities to enable learners to progress in their chosen career.
- Assess learner work and provide structured feedback, setting collaborative development objectives with learners, employers, and in some instances, parents.
- Set, monitor, and review learner progress targets using accurate starting points, ensuring KPI achievement and stakeholder commitment to the learner journey.
- Track and risk-band learner progress against KSB outcomes, applying support funds and tools to enable learners to achieve their apprenticeship.
- Drive curriculum improvements through stakeholder feedback and ensure compliance with learner commitment statements, diagnostics, and end-point assessment processes.
- Contribute to quality assurance, CPD, and safeguarding, including self-assessment cycles, health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and proactive management of learner needs.
- Engage in open evenings, taster days, IAG, and employer activities to meet targets and build caseloads across apprenticeships alongside our commercial sales team.
About you:
- Competent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to enhance the learner journey.
- Proficient with digital systems and eLearning platforms to guide and support learners effectively.
- Motivating and inspiring approach that encourages learner engagement and achievement.
- Supportive and enabling attitude always fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Skills Required:
- Must have experience of delivering AAT modules up to L3 minimum with a requirement to be developed to deliver L4.
- Minimum 3 years vocational industry experience working within Finance.
- 1–2 years teaching, learning, and assessment experience, with knowledge of OFSTED quality standards.
- Up-to-date subject expertise and relevant AAT or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Diploma in Education and Training or happy to be developed to achieve relevant teaching qualifications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate a wide range of diverse learner needs.
- Effective planning and organisational skills to manage workload efficiently.
- Proven coaching ability to support learner development and progression.
