We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive to join our high-performing Team at FRF Volvo Swansea.
You'll be responsible for achieving monthly unit and profit targets, managing your personal pipeline via CRM, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service, compliance, and brand representation. Job Summary:
To sell new & used vehicles professionally and to maximise the profit opportunity within each sale. Develop good relationships with customers. To meet and exceed monthly company and personal profit and unit targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding whilst maintaining a high level of product and industry knowledge
- Manage inbound and outbound leads, both digital and in-showroom
- Qualify customers by understanding their interests and requirements, matching requirements and interests to various models, etc.
- Conduct customer consultations, test drives, and finance presentations
- Ensure all finance options are discussed and explored to provide the customer with the best finance facilities.
- Deliver an experience that drives repeat business, referrals, and 5-star reviews
- To introduce and follow up suitable sales prospect in line with management set target.
- Collaborate with the team to maximise showroom performance and profitability
- Represent FRF Volvo Swansea with pride, professionalism, and passion
- Ensure that customers understand the vehicle’s operating features, paperwork and warranty.
- Follow a structured and customer-focused sales process, ensuring every stage from qualification to close is handled with professionalism, transparency, and consistency
- Uphold Volvo brand standards by ensuring excellence in showroom presentation, In-Car Connectivity setup, Service Plan explanation, and maintaining high Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores
- Ensure all financial transactions are complete and correct for each transaction.
- Directly reports to the Sales Manager, receiving daily support, guidance, and performance feedback
- To have due regard for Health and Safety of others whilst undertaking your duties.
- To carry out any reasonable request as directed by the Manager/ Assistant Manager.
Required:
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- The ability to listen to the customers’ needs and desires in order to offer professional advice.
- Self-confidence and an outgoing personality.
- Good negotiating skills and a persuasive manner.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude to customer care.
- Commercially aware, with a focus on conversion rates, finance penetration, and add-on performance whilst maintain our Treating Customers Fairly ethos.
- The ability to explain technical information to people who aren’t experts.
- Good IT skills and business sense.
- The ability to work to targets and deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
- High CRM discipline – tracks pipeline, follow-ups, and lost opportunities effectively
- Confidence to work alone without direct supervision.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and target driven
- The ability to work in teams to increase profits.
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- DBS check is required for this role
