This role is for 21 hours per week and will be responsible for the following duties:
- To Identify groups and organisations that improve the quality of life for Yardley neighbourhood. These are called assets and could be places, people, and services.
- To support the team in updating a monthly asset register for Yardley area.
- Build links and relationships with citizens, social workers, GPs and other practitioners.
- To be a point of contact for the Neighbourhood Network Scheme providing advice, guidance and signposting.
- To identify gaps and issues being raised by the local community and professionals.
Some of the key skills and experience required for this role are:
- · Experience of working with community organisations.
- · Experience of working with disabled people and or people over the age of 50.
- · Ability to network and represent DRC at events.
- · Knowledge of Yardley constituency.
